MODULE 2: The Discovery Process TEST
This module introduces the Discovery process and various tools and strategies one can use to gather information about the person they’re supporting. Provides an in-depth explanation of Social Capital using Relationship and Community Mapping. Also included are tools such as My Perfect Day to determine someone’s preferences, likes, and dislikes; career assessment and exploration tools such as the Career Guide for Occupation Exploration; Home Visits and what to take note of, and more.
At the end of this module, the goal is to better understand the Discovery process and fill out the Discovery and Career Exploration Profile document utilizing the strategies discussed throughout the module. This module also provides an overview of creating a Visual Portfolio or Visual Resume to demonstrate better an individuals’ skills, experiences, and preferences.
