SE101 M6L5 – Assessing Performance & Job Satisfaction
Assessing Performance & Job Satisfaction
Employer and Employee satisfaction with job performance is crucial for longevity on the job.
- Analyze work performance
- are there new or different support needs that were not apparent before?
- Are there job changes that impact productivity or efficiency?
- Make a plan to address these changes.
- Make in-person visits to observe and evaluate work performance. Adjust strategies as needed.
- Connect with the person and their team
- how are things going?
- Are things “ok” at home?
- Sometimes, personal concerns impact work productivity.
- If there is a problem, address it immediately.
- If a person decides to resign from a job:
- encourage them to continue working while another job is found.
- Ensure that funding is available for supports.
- Step back to the discovery process,
- assess,
- make additions and changes to their Profile and other documentation,
- begin a new search, armed with further information, skills, and strengths.
The above are just some thoughts and considerations on job stability, fading, follow along, and long-term supports.
